| The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released wide receiver Dexter Jackson in order to reach the NFL-mandated roster number of 75 players. The 5-foot-9, 182-pound Jackson was drafted last year by former Bucs head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Bruce Allen to become Tampa Bay's return specialist, a role he played at Appalachian State. However, Jackson struggled as a rookie before being replaced by fellow rookie Clifton Smith, who went on to earn a trip to the Pro Bowl as a return man. Source: PewterReport.com |
