Titans Release WR Chris Davis With Injury Settlement

The Titans on Friday reached an injury settlement with receiver Chris Davis, who was waived/injured earlier this week. Because the Titans released Davis while he was injured — he suffered a hamstring injury in Week 1 of the preseason — the team and Davis had to find a compromise on a settlement. That's now happened. Davis was a 2007 draft pick by the Titans and got off to a great start this offseason.
