| Cowboys WR Roy Williams Worried About Timing With Tony Romo | | | Cowboys WR Roy Williams raised eyebrows Tuesday at Valley Ranch when he suggested the timing between him and Tony Romo still needs plenty of work. While the two have only connected six times in the preseason, the feeling among the Dallas Cowboys is that the Romo-Williams connection is where it should be after training camp and two games. But Williams painted a different picture, saying a perfectly timed play between the two during Monday's practice was a rarity. "He threw a ball that was on time and right at the landmark where it was supposed to be," Williams told reporters. "I think that's the second or third time that's ever happened where I was in the right spot, and the ball was in the right spot, and it just clicked and looked real pretty on film. "We want to get to that 100 percent of the time. So far, we've only had three or four of those." That was news to Romo. "I think our timing is pretty good," he said. "I think we've done some good things. I'm excited about it." Source: San Antonio Express-News | | |
