After watching the Chicago Bears rip through that defense with ease Saturday night, Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has had enough of the hype. Saying that "you have to earn everything that is said about you," Coughlin chastised the media for over-hyping his team and fired warning shots toward his healthy and injured players for believing it. If the depth everyone speaks about is really there, it clearly wasn't evident to Coughlin in the Giants' 17-3 loss to the Bears. "I just think that for so long we've (read that) we've got so much depth. I don't know what you're watching, but the guys that are supposed to be the depth have hardly even practiced," Coughlin said yesterday. "I think you're talking about something that looks good but hasn't really materialized. Until we get this thing straightened around with everybody on the field, this rotation and this depth that we're talking about really is a nonfactor right now."
Yea cause you get the highest win % in the nfc this decade not being able to control your player
You can't control your players if they choke in 4/5 NFC Championships and have a load of bitching on the sidelines in the one Superbowl that they actually make.
