Giants WR Steve Smith (knee), CB Corey Webster (hip) and DT Fred Robbins (knee) will play in their first preseason game tonight at 8 in Chicago, after sitting out the opener with injuries. But nine of their teammates will be on the sidelines tonight, according to Giants VP of communications Pat Hanlon: S Kenny Phillips (knee), CB Aaron Ross (hamstring), LB Antonio Pierce (foot), Gs Rich Seubert (shoulder) and Chris Snee (knee), DTs Rocky Bernard (hamstring) and Chris Canty (hamstring), LB Michael Boley (hip/PUP) and RB Andre Brown (season-ending Achilles rupture). DE Justin Tuck (foot) had been limited this week, but he'll be on the field.

Going to be interesting.....

That's 5 starters from last year out and all 3 of the Free Agent signings (but there were similar numbers out for the first pre-season game and the team played well in that game).
