Raiders Offer Try-Out To Free Agent LB Derrick Brooks

The word going around the Bucs training camp Thursday is that their former star linebacker, Derrick Brooks, is now headed to Oakland for a try-out with the Raiders. Brooks, who has spent every minute of his 14-year NFL career in a Bucs jersey, was released by the club earlier this year. It appears he headed west in hopes of playing at least one more season.
