[Steelers] Steelers WR Shaun McDonald Draws Praise From Ike Taylor

ith three exhibition games and almost a month of practice to go before the start of the regular season, it is too early to say that the unsettled situation behind Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes has sorted itself out. But with Shaun McDonald catching everything thrown his way, Limas Sweed looking much more comfortable than he did a year ago and rookie Mike Wallace showing a lot of promise, it's hard to imagine those three not opening the season on the Steelers' 53-man roster. On McDonald, who almost had a 1,000-yard receiving season two years ago in Detroit, Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor said, "All he be doing is making plays. He's a quiet worker, doesn't say too much. But when he's in between the lines he works."
