Dan Carpenter suddenly finds himself in a position he couldn't have imagined when training camp opened with him the only kicker on the roster. Kicking inside the team's indoor practice bubble, Carpenter, who set a team rookie record with 14 FGs in a row last season, missed wide right from 42 and 45 yards. Meanwhile, newcomer Connor Barth made both of his kicks.
