In an effort to beef up their defensive line corps, the Patriots entertained free agent Vonnie Holliday yesterday, according to a league source. Holliday's visit comes on the heels of the Pats also bringing in veteran free agent defensive lineman Kevin Carter, who they hosted last week before making an offer to the 35-year-old player. The Pats are still awaiting a decision from Carter.
