Quarterback Drew Brees rejoined the New Orleans Saints and participated in their practice Monday, according to the Associated Press. Brees had missed a scrimmage Saturday after the death of his mother. "It was a long weekend," Brees said, according to the AP. "It was a tough weekend.... I appreciate everybody giving their condolences and everything but... I'd rather deal with it, move on, and I'm trying to."
