"There was all that pressure that I was supposed to be the answer to all the problems. That's not how things worked," Moss said. "But that's the nature of this business. It's a pressure pot. Things build up, and people start pointing fingers, like, 'Oh, he's not this and that,' and that's what I've got to live with. I can deal with it." Broncos defensive lineman Jarvis Moss can say that now, after Moss was struggling personally and professionally when players reported to camp last Thursday, so much so that coach Josh McDaniels excused Moss from camp from Saturday through Monday to deal with what Moss called "life stuff." Moss called speculation that he was considering retirement during that three-day break "not true at all." "I had a lot of stuff on my plate, not just football," Moss said. "Just life. Coach gave me a few days to get my stuff together before I came back out here, and I did that." returning from a three-day break from training camp this week.
