Chiefs WR Amani Toomer: I Can Still Get Job Done At 34

Chiefs WR Amani Toomer is 34 (he will turn 35 on Sept. 8), an advanced age for wide receivers, so he has some things to prove. "I feel like I'm the same," Toomer said. "I feel like I can run around and do everything I could do when I was a little bit younger".

I love this move for the Chiefs. Much more than Engram because Toomer hasn't had the injury bug much.

Yep. Reliable possession guy. Will take some pressure off of Matt.

Outstanding pickup. Toomer's not a mid to long term solution, but for where the Chiefs are in this transition a proven commodity that can impact the scoreboard now while "teaching" younger players is just what the Pioli ordered. Great move.
