Browns WR/KR Josh Cribbs Hints At A Week One Holdout

Browns wide receiver/returner Josh Cribbs showed up for the opening of camp Saturday as expected, but made it clear he might not be here at the start of the regular season. The Plain Dealer reported this week that Cribbs is adamant he won't play a regular season game without a new contract or significant progress towards one, according to a source. "I can't make any predictions on what I'm going to do in the future,'' said Cribbs. "I can tell you I want to be out here on this field, I don't want to miss a step. It's real competitive out here, I'm trying to get my spot on offense and work my way on defense as well. But I can't make any predictions on what I'm going to do when the season starts.''

Yeah, if he's not agreeing to honor a contract that he signed, fine. I'm sure the next person in line is more then willing to take his roster spot while Cribbs holds out like a bitch.

This must ranked as the most ridiculous holdout in NFL history. One year wonder kick returner (He did fuck all last year), and he thinks he deserves WR money?

I hope the Browns let him holdout and let the bitches stock drop.

What will be great is that he'll hold out and then the Browns will realize that not only can't he catch, but he's not that great at returning kicks either...
