49ers Claim FB Brit Miller Off Waivers From The Panthers

The San Francisco 49ers announced on Tuesday that they have claimed FB Brit Miller off waivers from the Carolina Panthers. Miller (6-0, 243) was originally signed as a rookie free agent earlier this year by Carolina out of the University of Illinois. As a senior, he lined up at middle linebacker and earned second-team All-Big Ten Conference honors after ranking third nationally with 132 tackles in addition to posting six sacks, three fumble recoveries and eight passes defensed.
