Broncos [Broncos] Broncos Send Message To Players Who Want New Deals

The Broncos surprised some by extending soon-to-be 36-year-old C Casey Wiegmann's contract by a year, but sources said it's not a stretch to think the deal was also meant to send a message to the team. Wiegmann was unhappy with his contract situation prior to the extension and made his feelings public, threatening to retire if no new deal was given to him, but he handled himself in a respectful and professional manner. The new front-office team of head coach Josh McDaniels and GM Brian Xanders would like to see more players behave in a similar manner, rather than the style employed by disgruntled WR Brandon Marshall, who has not received a new contract and wants to be traded.

Not too many pro football players act in a respectful professional manner when it comes to contract issues these days, so its refreshing to see when someone goes. Good for Casey, maybe it's a shame Marshall wont shut up, stay out of trouble, stop demanding a trade, and start playing football. Players need to act like professionals, and ownership should reward that provided the players skills are there. Good job by Denver here

That will show B Marshall how to act. Way to go McDaniels.
Make a public display of how B Marshall should act.
I know #15 is ready to stay in Denver now.

Players that act like a little crying bitch about their contract now of days, you just want to put a diapar on them, seriously.
