So does that mean the GF's friend lied today when she said Mcnair was in the midst of a divorce. Steve may have not exactly been the stepford guy everyone's making him out to be.

Basing just on the hearsay, it seems to me that the chick thought McNair was going to divorce his wife. My guess is that he told crazy girl he's staying with his wife and that enraged her. Who knows for sure though.

I honestly think that Steve put himself in a bind in this situation. With all due respect, the man was my hero, but we don't know anything about his personal life. He shouldn't have put himself in this business, because maybe he'd still be here today, but that's neither here nor there, the man's dead and all that police can do is find the killer and impose justice.
