Cowboys QB Tony Romo Feels This Has Been His Best Offseason

From the ashes of last season's disastrous Cowboys December, a strong foundation is being built. "It's been very football heavy this offseason," Tony Romo said. "We had a lot of OTA's (Organized Team Activities) and a lot of minicamps, the most since I've been here. The guys have worked their butts off and we've tried to put ourselves in position to be successful by doing everything we can this offseason. "Since I've been playing in the NFL, this has been the best offseason to date and that excites you as a quarterback. In that regard, it's been real enjoyable."

I almost think he should respectfully decline to talk about how good an offseason he has had and just tell the press he doesn't want to talk about it, and let his actions do the talking. I just believe the more he talks about it, the more the media will talk about him being on the hot seat...Romo hasn't had alot of love from the media over the last couple of years.

I agree Omen...he got a lot of love real fast and sort of set the bar too high to start with...if you can say that...

It will definitely be interesting to see what happens with him this year. All the "distractions" are gone and he's having the "best off-season" ever...

The stuff he talked about are what most nfl QBs do its not anything special.

Again this is the OTA's every UDFA looks good right now, I will wait until they play games to say he has improved.

Romo got too much attention too soon, while he was able to put up some very nice numbers he was still very new at starting in the NFL.
