Dolphins Want To Extend LB Matt Roth's Contract

The Dolphins are interested in extending the contract of strong-side linebacker Matt Roth who has the potential to become a free agent in 2010. "We've exchanged proposals," agent Drew Rosenhaus told the Miami Herald. Roth started 14 games at starting outside linebacker for the Dolphins in 2008 and and he made 53 tackles with 5.0 sacks.
