Former NFL QB Steve McNair Shot Dead in Tennessee
Posted By: Crowned 07-04-2009 , 05:41 PM

Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was shot multiple times, including once in the head, and a pistol was discovered near the body of the 20-year-old woman found dead with him Saturday in a downtown condominium. Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron identified the woman as Sahel Kazemi, whom he called a "friend" of McNair's. She had a single gunshot wound to the head. Police said the 36-year-old McNair was found on the sofa in the living room, and Kazemi was very close to him on the floor.

Never been so happy in my life not to be famous! It's unreal what's going on these days!

I had the utmost for McNair because he was one of those guys that was the exception to the "QB aren't tough" rule. Playing hurt and still being the best player on the field those days as well. You couldnt help but respect him.

Whatever the circumstances, whether it was an execution, a robbery gone wrong, whatever, it's a tragedy and I hope he is at peace wherever he is now.

RIP Steve

I heard double homicide on a couple stations but it could be either or at this point.

I don't even know what to think right now, he's the reason I like football.
