| San Francisco 49ers' 2008 first round pick Kentwan Balmer might start by mid-season. He has trained with Justin Smith, one of the hardest workers on the team, and has been improving his technique so far, and will continue to do so this summer. | i think hes gonna be a really good player, ive always liked him and would have minded us drafting him....they drafted ziggy just to spite me this year but at least balmer offers some value to a 34 defense
