Adrian Peterson's Father Expresses Opinion On Vikings QB

The father of the best running back in the NFL understands why the Vikings likely will be signing quarterback Brett Favre. They’ve yet to find someone who consistently can take advantage of all the attention that gets devoted to said best running back in the NFL. And so Nelson Peterson would welcome Favre or anyone else who can force those extra defenders away from the line of scrimmage. “Anybody who can keep nine guys out of the box would be greatly appreciated,” the elder Peterson recently told the Oklahoman. “I don’t care if it’s Tarvaris [Jackson], Sage [Rosenfels], Brett Favre or anybody else.”

Bret would be the only one of those three who could possibly keep the defence honest.

Well my pops is sadly a Cowboys fan. He digs Adrian Peterson but ultimately hopes he fails because it's better news for the Cowboys. So I'm thinking "Ward's Father" would like to see the Vikings stick with Tarvaris Jackson...

I'm not Ward, but my father believes Favre retired years ago, and that he's in HOF already.

Nah. He's 54 years old, but pretty much disconnected from the world since the start of the Internet era, and since he doesn't speak English, he watches NFL Network for the classic games only
