[Eagles] Eagles CB's Sheldon Brown, Ellis Hobbs Will Compete

Cornerback Sheldon Brown asked to be traded in the offseason after the Eagles refused to redo the four years left on his contract. He was a no-show at all of the team's voluntary OTAs, but is not expected to be a training camp holdout. Whether he can fend off newcomer Ellis Hobbs and hang on to his starting job remains to be seen.

If sheldon is 100% focused i dont think ellis hobbs can beat him out.

I do...... I probably would NOT have a year or two ago... but after watching Lito ride the pine last year I definitely think Ellis Hobbs has a shot at beating Sheldon out

It depend on if sheldon lets the contract effect his play because so far hes had a better career then hobbs.

Do you really think Lito's play dipped that much last year? No way... he pissed Andy off.... and if ellis is even CLOSE to being competetive with Sheldon or if Sheldon doesn't show up big time in TC then I'm afraid he's got splinters in his future.

His play definitely dipped i remember him getting beat a good amount of times.

Would you really go a far as calling him probowl worthy? I would say hes been very solid but not great enough for a probowl.
