| Last year, the 37-year old struggled in the preseason as he learned Jim Zorn's hybrid West Coast offense. But like [Jason] Campbell and [Colt] Brennan, Collins has had a year in the system and entering the second year of a three-year deal valued at $9 million, will look to remain entrenched as the insurance policy should Campbell go down. If Brennan were to beat Collins out for the job, however, it'd be difficult to see the Redskins keeping a third-string quarterback with a $3 million per year price tag. | I'd like to see Brennan beat out Collins, as I think Collins was always a bad QB to begin with. Brennan may have been a system QB in college, but unless he gets a chance to play at this level, in regular season games nobody will ever know...I personally would like to see him play, the kid can flat out throw the ball. If he beats out collins for the 2 spot he's only 1 hit away from getting his spot.
