Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey plans to continue using the Wildcat attack in 2009, the thing is, Mularkey has been using the approach for years, before it was given a catchy title. "We've been doing that for 10 years," Mularkey tells J. Michael Moore of Falcons.com. "I don't think we caught anyone off guard with it. All of a sudden it has a name but Hines Ward, Antwan [sic] Randle El, and Roscoe Parish [sic] have been doing those things for 10 years now." In Atlanta, the guy who runs the "Wildcat" is Jerious Norwood. "We have a plan every week that involves Jerious," Mularkey said. "We have a plan for every guy. Really, situations dictate whether those plans or plays get called. A lot of it is based on down, distance, field position, score. . . . I think sometimes people believe we don't use him enough but he has some plays."
