Ravens Have Stripped LB Ray Lewis Of Some Of His Control

The Ravens have gradually taken away some of linebacker Ray Lewis' control, and rightfully so. Lewis' was taken away, but in a decent and honorable manner. A lot of it was stripped away during offseason contract negotiations when Lewis failed to command a big payday on the open market.

This is just a section of a Mike Preston article from todays Baltimore Sun - which is to say, this is only Mike Preston's opinion however he goes on to say that it IS still Lewis' defense and the whole article is about how John Harbaugh has won over the team (in part due to a quickly developed mutual respect with Lewis).
