Browns WR Donte Stallworth's Role Was Undefined?

Even if Donte Stallworth stayed out of trouble, it's hard to know how much of a role he'd have played this season. Brian Robiskie has been solid in camp. The hope is with Edwards stretching the defense with deep patterns on one side and Robiskie running strong medium routes, the Browns can develop a 1-2 receiving punch and also get contributions from others such as David Patten, Mike Furrey, Mohamed Massaquoi and maybe a long shot such as Lance Leggett or Jordan Norwood.

That came from a Plain Dealer reporter, not the team. It's not damage control. It has to be hard to gauge what a guy can do for you when he didn't contribute last year and you know he's facing a suspension. They haven't been counting on having him since the day it happened.
Basically, he didn't do shit last year, so... what damage are they controlling?

Its funny the Broncos will accept Josh Cribbs in a trade but the Browns don't even mention him in there WR rotation at all.

Yeah, he's one of those guys without a position. Supposedly, he has enough talent to talk about him playing WR, QB (in the Flash package), and/or safety while returning punts and kicks, but he'll probably end up just returning and being used on the occasional reverse again.

Josh Cribb shouldn't be talked about as a WR...he's not one. He's actually pretty awful at it. His kick return skills, aside from 2007, have been average. Stallworth has been overrated for the longest time. BUM.
