West Virginia Extends Dana Holgorsen's Contract Through 2017
West Virginia and head coach Dana Holgorsen are set on a new contract extension that'll run through the 2017 season, sources tell CBSSports.com. The deal is expected to be announced by the school later in the day on Wednesday. The new deal averages over $2.8 million per year, which would rank Holgorsen's deal on par with fellow new Big 12 conference coach Gary Patterson of TCU, according to a source. Holgorsen is set to earn $16.9 million over six years plus incentives. The 41-year-old Holgorsen is set to begin his second season as the Mountaineers head coach. Source CBS Sports |
