Clemson's Star WR Sammy Watkins Suspended For First Two Games

Clemson Star WR Sammy Watkins will be suspended for the first two games of the 2012 season. Those games are VS Auburn and Ball St. The suspension is per a Board of Trustees approval. Head Coach Dabo Swinney has been keeping it quiet whether Watkins would be suspended or not. The Sophmore, who last season was an AP all-american, was arrested for possession of weed and two prescription pills. in the Spring. Watkins is one of only three players to win AP all-american honors as a true freshman. The other two were RB's Hershel Walker and Adrian Peterson.
