Penn State OL Khamrone Kolb To Transfer Penn State redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Khamrone Kolb has transferred out of the program and will be headed to Fordham. Lions247 originally reported two weeks ago that Kolb was no longer working out with the team. "He called me and let me know that he was not real happy with what was going on there, and he had gotten his release from Coach O'Brien and he wanted to go to a different school," said Lake Braddock assistant coach Steve Price, who facilitated the transfer. "It came down to like four schools, he had seven to 10 offers right away, and it was between Coastal Carolina, Delaware, Fordham and Liberty. He decided on Fordham." The 6-foot-5, 324-pound Kolb was a three-star recruit out of Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, Va. He chose Penn State over offers from Illinois, Maryland, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin, among others. He is the third member of Penn State's offensive line Class of 2010 to leave the program, joining Thomas Ricketts and Alex Mateas. Source 247 Sports |
