Notre Dame CB Austin Collinsworth May Miss The 2012 Season Notre Dame safety Austin Collinsworth could miss the 2012 season after undergoing surgery recently to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.The school announced Wednesday that Collinsworth, who suffered the injury during the spring, is expected to miss the next four to six months.The 6-foot-1, 202-pound Collinsworth, the son of former NFL player and current broadcaster Cris Collinsworth, has played in all 26 games through two seasons in South Bend, Ind., recording 25 tackles and forcing one fumble.
