TE Darius Terrell And DB Eryon Barnett Are Transfering From Texas
Two players buried deep on Texas’ depth chart will look elsewhere for playing time. Tight end Darius Terrell and defensive back Eryon Barnett both will transfer from the program before next season, the Longhorns announced Tuesday. Terrell, a sophomore from DeSoto, had just one reception in nine games during his UT career. He was behind M.J. McFarland, D.J. Grant, Dom Jones and Barrett Matthews in the competition for a job at tight end. Barnett, a junior from Euless Trinity, also played in nine career games at UT, mainly in kick and punt coverage.
