Former Tide DB Reggie Miles Claims Gator DT Dominique Easley Attacked Him
by themush 10-04-2011, 10:31 PM

The University of Florida police department says it is investigating a claim that Gators defensive tackle Dominique Easley attacked a former Alabama player outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium following the Tide's 38-10 victory.UPD Major Brad Barber says the investigation should be done this week and that Easley could be charged with battery. Barber says Easley's attorney, Huntley Johnson, declined a request for his client to be interviewed Tuesday. Former Alabama defensive back Reggie Myles filed a complaint with the police department alleging Easley attacked him without provocation shortly after midnight Sunday. The Tuscaloosa News first reported the incident.

Riiiiiiight. Without provocation.....so Easley just snapped in front of his parents and punched someone he didn't know after the loss. And it just so happens to be an "innocent" former Tide player. I'm sure he was telling Easley what a great game he played and how much he respects him and the University of Florida. And that's what set Easley off, again in front of his parents.

Nonetheless, you snap and attack someone over a game? No matter if he said "Wow, ya'll really sucked out there tonight", shouldn't give him the right to loose his cool. I am not saying that Reggie is innocent, because I call BS on that. But nonetheless, if there was no threats made and just bantering about the game, Easley is a moron for doing anything that would result in this to begin with. Just walk away.
