| Stanford FS Michael Thomas Working Out For Texans
Stanford safety Michael Thomas has a private workout for the Houston Texans today, according to a league source. Thomas participated in the San Francisco 49ers' local prospects workout Wednesday. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout. He also registered a 4.08 short shuttle, a 38-inch vertical leap and a 10-4 broad jump. Although a bit smaller than ideal at 5-foot-10, 184 pounds, Thomas was extremely productive as he recorded 66 tackles, 3 1/2 for losses, one sack, three interceptions, eight pass deflections and one fumble recovery last season.
