Packers WR Donald Driver Leaning Toward Retiring by Sweets 01-24-2013, 11:18 AM
Donald Driver once said he'd like to play until the age of 40, but it seems the Green Bay Packers' wide receiver won't make it, Mike Garafolo of USA Today reports.
Following a disappointing season in which he caught eight passes and was inactive for one of the team's two playoff games, Driver is leaning toward retirement, according to a person informed of Driver's thinking on the matter. The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because Driver hasn't made a final decision, said an announcement could come as soon as next week.
Driver's agent, Jorday Woy, could not be reached for comment. Source: The Redzone |
