Evan Dietrich-Smith doesn’t want to be known as that guy, you know, the one that Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh stomped on. So, Dietrich-Smith is hopeful he can be associated with something else very soon as he works to carve out a spot as a backup on the Green Bay Packers’ offensive line. Dietrich-Smith has been working behind new center Jeff Saturday and at guard. He could nail down the swing job on the interior. “I'm not here to be that guy Suh stomped on,” Dietrich-Smith told Lori Nickel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “It just happened to be on national TV, but I can't really do anything about that. I don't want to be that guy. I'm out to prove I'm not just that guy. I'm the guy that plays for the Packers.”
