I've heard of the Chicago team in the league because Steve McMichael, who was on the '85 Bears team, was hired as head coach and was on the news here in the city promoting the upcoming tryouts. So I knew about the team, I just didn't know which league it was in.

Any idea what attendance for the league was like last season?

The Chicago Slaughter is the name, and William "The Refrigerator" Perry is the Director of Football Operations of the Slaughter, too!

And to answer your question:

Quote:
So far, the league has been relatively successful, having a cumulative attendance of over 75,000 in the inaugural regular season.
