First off, its Tony Kornheiser. He's been a writer for the Washington Post since the late 70's. He's done local radio here in the DC area off and on for 15 years. He and Wilbon have also appeared on local sports shows since the late 80's together. Kornheiser's radio show was great, he and Wilbon do a terrific job on PTI b/c they're best friends and the chemistry really comes thru. The problems with Tony Kornheiser in the MNF booth is that he can't accomodate his humor smoothly. Tirico and Jaws do a great job and Tony is best when he tries not to go overboard w/ a funny comment. He ends up sounding like Dennis Miller, just slightly more relevant. If Tony can seemlessly work his personality into the broadcast, then he'll be a great addition.
