Youve been picked to be the GM of an Expansion team. The Los Angeles 69ers

You have to build this team from the ground up, and to start you are given....

Any 3 players currently under contract

Any 3 Draft prospects

Any 3 Free Agents

Who do you pick, and why did you choose to build that way?

Veterans

Matthew Stafford
Jake Long
John Pierre Paul

Free Agents
Mario Williams
Carl Nicks
Paul Soliai

Draft
Morris Claiborn
Justin Blackmon
David Decastro

I got my proven young franchise QB (thought Luck for a sec) and then decided to build dominate lines. JPP and Williams are both young athletic freak DE that would easyily be the best pass rush duo in the NFL, and while Soliai isnt a sexy name, he'll anchor against the run and push the pocket so the QB cant step up

On the otherside, I went young and dominate with Long and Nicks and took one of the most sound prospects in the draft in Decastro giving me the start of what will be a dominant offensive line

I thought about vet skill players (CB, WR and HB), but I went in the direction of making both trench's starong in passing on guys like Megatron and Revis. Since in in it for the long haul, I felt good about going with Rooks Blackmon and Claiborn

Like, FA's this coming off season? I have NO idea besides Desean Jackson who's a FA. :)

I have 125 contracts to assemble and send out tomorrow. Jihad Joe is my worst enemy at this moment!

This intrigues me. Honestly though I'm so disappointed right now though I don't know if I want to think about football that hard. Very good idea for a thread though. I'll probably be back in to do this.
