I think the NFC Championship is going to be the quasi-Super Bowl anyway. The AFC teams have too many holes to exploit. I'd roll the dice with the Pack and Saints though.

I think this year the NFC is clearly the much much much better conference. The Packers, Saints, and Giants all scare me more than any AFC team. Looks like now the AFC has some catching up to do.

I would put money on patriots vs saints/packers superbowl. To me the pats are a lock and packers saints is a toss up.

so, 7 voted for the field and 5 took the saints/packers .............. the playoffs are just so unpredictable, I will always take the field at the beginning of the playoffs over 1 or 2 'favorites' ............

last year, before the playoffs, the patriots were the clear favorite, about 2 to 1 and the steelers and falcons were second, both about 11 to 2 ............... how did it work out for those 3 ?

hell, last year, you could have taken the field over the top THREE favorites and still won.
