| Record Crowd Shows For Peyton Manning's First Broncos Scrimmage
A record crowd of 41,304 showed up at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Saturday afternoon to watch Manning in the Broncos' open scrimmage, Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reports. The practice marked Manning's debut on his new home field. As Manning jogged out of the south tunnel and onto the field, he received a thunderous round of applause. "Welcome to Colorado, man!" shouted a man in the front row. All of the stadium parking lots were full by 2:45 p.m., and fans were directed to overflow lots at the Auraria campus across Interstate 25.
