| Broncos, OT Ryan Clady Far Apart In Negotiations The Denver Broncos and tackle Ryan Clady have swapped multi-year proposals, according to the Denver Post, but the sides are far enough apart that the talks have hit a snag. Clady is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and the Broncos had hoped to negotiate an extension before the season. If no deal gets done, that increases the likelihood that Clady could become a free agent in 2013, unless Denver wishes to use the franchise tag. Clady has made two Pro Bowls in his four seasons, and the left tackle's job will be all the more important this season, protecting Peyton Manning, who is making his way back from missing all of 2011 with neck surgery.
