Broncos QB Kyle Orton Throws To Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald

Kyle Orton - the Broncos’ starting quarterback if the season today - has been mentioned as possible trade bait with the quarterback-desperate Arizona Cardinals. He worked out Thursday with Cards star receiver Larry Fitzgerald in Minnesota. Broncos’ receiver Eric Decker, who starred at the University of Minnesota, also joined Fitzgerald’s famous workouts Thursday. Fitzgerald tweeted proof here, saying “Me, Kyle Orton, @E_decker (Eric Decker) and Kyle’s father after today’s training here Minnesota.” Fitzgerald sent out another tweet saying he’s known Orton for a while so don’t read anything into their meeting. And Decker may have helped arrange the meeting as he has bounced between working out with Orton in Denver and Fitzgerald in Minnesota throughout the offseason.
