| Cowboys LB DeMarcus Ware Misses Wednesday OTAs With Minor Neck Strain Linebacker DeMarcus Ware has a minor neck strain that kept him out of organized team activities Wednesday. Ware participated in the voluntary practice Tuesday, and coach Jason Garrett said Ware will return Thursday for the last practice of this week. "He actually had a little neck strain that we don’t think is a big deal," Garrett said. "We didn’t want to have him practice today. He’s going to practice tomorrow. But it's really a non-issue, obviously this time of year. This is all voluntary. We’re still in May, so we have a long way to go before we really get started so we want to air on the side of caution with guys like that. He should practice tomorrow, though." Defensive end Marcus Spears (neck), defensive lineman Sean Lissemore (side), nose tackle Jay Ratliff (foot) and running back Felix Jones (shoulder) are among other players who sat out Wednesday's practice.
