| Cowboys Re-Sign OG Daniel Loper And Cut P Chris Jones
The Cowboys have released punter Chris Jones and re-signed offensive guard Daniel Loper today, the team announced. Loper has been on and off the roster the last two weeks as the Cowboys have worked around injuries. Jones was signed to replace punter Mat McBriar, who is dealing with a left foot injury. Jones punted four times for an average of 43 yards two weeks ago against Seattle, but McBriar was able to punt Sunday against Buffalo and is expected to punt Sunday at Washington.
