| | | Pitt starting safety Jason Hendricks, a redshirt sophomore, will miss the rest of the regular season with a shoulder injury, coach Todd Graham said today. Hendricks, who was injured in the Utah game Oct. 15, may be able to play if Pitt earns a bowl invitation. Redshirt junior Andrew Taglianetti will replace Hendricks at the bandit position, opposite free safety Jarred Holley. Graham also announced that redshirt freshman Mark Myers will be the backup quarterback Wendesday against Connecticut. Freshman Trey Anderson, who had been the backup to starter Tino Sunseri, has a wrist injury that has lingered since he broke his hand last year in high school. Source pittsburghlive.com | | |
