The buzz in Baylor Nation today is about coach Art Briles getting a well-deserved contract extension the week that quarterback Robert Griffin III could win the Heisman Trophy. Briles, who had five years left on his original contract, and Griffin are in New York for Saturdays presentation of the Heisman Trophy. Briles refused to talk about his contract situation or being pursued by other schools. There were reports that Arizona State and Texas A&M were interested in him, but its a moot point because of his extension. Briles has led Baylor to a 9-3 record.
you guys realize that when Griffin was hurt his backup came in and was a stud right? He will be fine with Nick Florence. Plain and simple Briles is a good coach with a good scheme. One thing to note is he will never take a job outside of Texas though.

like I said Florence is talented. It's not like Briles can't coach without RG3. He was an elite HS coach and he turned around 2 annually struggling college programs.
