Sooners' RB Johnathan Miller Arrested, Not Suspended

Oklahoma running back Jonathan Miller was arrested Aug. 18 for a warrant issued over fines resulting from a previous traffic incident, Norman Police Sgt. Jennifer Newell confirmed to the Tulsa World on Tuesday. Asked about any effect this might have on Miller after practice Tuesday night, OU coach Bob Stoops said: "I don't suspend guys for traffic tickets." According to Cleveland County District Court documents, the 20-year-old Miller was stopped in September 2010 and issued a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license. Documents show Miller plead guilty in a December court appearance and was ordered to pay fines totaling $394. Miller, documents show, set up a payment plan with the court administrator, but then failed to adhere to the agreement.
