Sooners' Senior LB Travis Lewis Out For 8 Weeks

Senior linebacker Travis Lewis, Oklahoma's leading tackler for the past three seasons, likely will miss the next eight weeks after breaking a bone in his left foot in practice Monday. Lewis is the Sooners' starting weakside linebacker and has 362 tackles in his first three seasons. Sophomore Corey Nelson will step into that role in his absence. Nelson had 21 tackles in his freshman season, appearing in all 14 of Oklahoma's games. In addition, Tony Jefferson will replace Nelson at nickelback.
