FOX Sports on MSN - COLLEGE FOOTBALL - Ohio State RB Wells to enter NFL draft

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohio State tailback Chris "Beanie" Wells is giving up his final year of eligibility to enter the NFL draft.

Wells issued a statement Thursday saying the move is in the best interest of his family.

Wells fought nagging injuries much of his career at Ohio State.

Not surprised by this at all.

Adrian Peterson missed half his college career and went at 8, so to say Beanie's durability will affect his draft position is an inaccurate statement. I think Beanie is an amazing talent and love his running style. He should be a star in the NFL and is a top 10 pick in my eyes.

Beanie Wells and Shonn Greene are miles ahead of Javon Ringer as an NFL Prospect. I'd personally take Beanie over Shonn because Beanie will be a feature back rather than Shonn, who will flourish being paired with a scatback.
