NCAA [NCAA Headlines] OSU RB Chris "Beanie" Wells Injured In 43-0 Rout

Second-ranked Ohio State, in its quest for a third straight BCS championship game appearance and fourth consecutive Big Ten title, snuffed Youngstown State, 43-0, in the season opener Saturday afternoon at Ohio Stadium.Wells was carted off the field and examined by the team medical staff. He returned later in the second half without his shoulder pads and wearing a protective boot on his injured foot.

he was standing on it fine and moving around. his mom and sister was in the locker room with him and they where fine when they came out and i heard tress did not sound worried about in the post game press confrence. so as long as he is ready to go against usc i am cool otherwise i am a fucking wreck already

ESPN is reporting x-rays where negative

x-rays only show something wrong with a bone, OSI's xrays were negative too. I would feel better if and when any MRI comes back negative.

I just saw the injury. I think he is done. So many player's x-rays are negative, It looked really bad to me. I would not be surprised if those MRI results come back with some majorly bad news.
